Not the best shopping trip this week but I was able to stock up on Dr Pepper (my son would drink only this if we let him!), Kotex products and get great deals on meat and Girl Scout Nestle Crunch bars. 20 Nestle Candy bars – Normally $.74, I price matched Albertson’s to $.49 - I used the $.75/2 coupon for Nestle candy from SS 7/8 – Final: $.12

20 2 Liters of Dr Pepper – Normally $1.28, I price matched Safeway to $.99 – I used the $1.00/2 coupon for Dr Pepper 2L from SS 6/24 – Final: $.49 each
All together I got $166.40 worth of food and other products for just $54.46. That’s a savings of $111.94 or 67%!

I love watching how you get the best deals, etc. Where do you live? I ask because stuff is so much less expensive by you than me. I’m in Chicago and a lot of times, the stuff you get for a certain price is easily 25-50% more here at my Target and other stores.

They are building a huge Walmart 5 minutes from my house (yay!!!!).
So when you price match do you need to have the ad or do you just tell them at the register?

I know the feeling, they built a new one for me just before the new Cowboys stadium went up. I was soooo happy to see it.
Their policy is that you don’t need the ad and can just tell them at the register but I always take the ad just in case.
