I got to spend my morning talking to Steve Noviello about Walmart Savings Catcher for a piece that will air next week. While I was there I showed him what was possible with coupons so I just picked up a few things.

I used a $5 coupon I got in the mail
Final: FREE
Altogether Walmart paid me $4.44 to walk out the door and then I got another $1 back from Ibotta. Darn good trip!

The walmart I love to go to won’t comp Family Dollar $2 Vidal Sasson. :((( any suggestions on how I can change that. They say it is because it is a discount store not a compitier :(((( I was not very happy. Plus they wouldn’t comp another grocery store because it was more than 20 miles away. Yet I went to another walmart 30 miles further way and they comp’d the grocery store but was out of shampoo so I couldn’t tell if they comp’d Family Dollar or not. Have you ran across this problem?

Not me personally but I definitely have heard about it. You need to call 800-WALMART and talk to customer service. Usually, once you start pushing, they cave.
