So before I tell you how impressed I was with Suavitel Fast Dry fabric softener, you need to know what an incredible novice I am when it comes to laundry.  I have been married for over 20 years and have learned incredible skills.  I can make a bed, I can cook a meal, I can even change a diaper but I still do laundry like a 22 year old bachelor.  I had no idea how to use fabric softener.

Essentially, everything goes in the washing machine and I throw a little soap in there and hope for the best.  I don’t think I’ve ever sorted anything in my life.  In fact, this was my first time using fabric softener.  As I read the instructions, I noticed it said that you are supposed to add the softener during the final rinse.  I was incredulous!  You mean I have to stand over the washing machine and wait until it gets to the final rinse and then add the softener?  That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of!  People do this?  Luckily my patient wife was kind enough to show me the little cone at the top of my washer that you add the Suavitel to and it holds it until the final rinse.  20 years of laundry and I have never noticed that thing.

Suavitel can be found on the Laundry Aisle

So after going to Walmart and picking up a bottle of Suavitel Fast Dry and using it on a few loads, I have to say I was really impressed.  Sometimes I will too long between loads of laundry and end up needing to wash every single thing I own.  And because I’m a guy, I try to wash it all in a single load.  Unfortunately, this means that I often find myself having to restart the dryer a few times to get them all dry.  I wanted to see if this Suavitel was true to the #FastDrySaveTime promise.

I went to the Suavitel Demo at Walmart

Suavitel Fast Dry promises to dry my clothes up to 30% faster so I was eager to put it to the test.  I washed a big load of clothes like normal, put the Suavitel in the little cone and threw them all in the dryer to see what would happen.  Sure enough, what would normally take me having to restart the dryer at least once was completely done at the end of the first cycle.  I was impressed to say the least.

So now the only question is what am I going to do with all the extra free time I have now that laundry takes a fraction of the time it used to?  We had all the grandkids over this weekend so I was actually able to sit down and play a few video games with them instead of dealing with the dryer.  I know the next laundry day, I’ll probably sit down a read a few chapters in my book.
