Dian and I have been teaching a couponing class at UT Arlington and today as kind of a graduation exercise we all headed out to Walmart so they could actually see what we do in action. I was so happy that there were so many great deals this week!
Here’s what we did.
10 Sierra Mist 2L – $1.00 – I used the $1.00/1 coupon from a blinkie in Kroger – Final: FREE
12 packs of Stride iD gum – Normally $1.28, I price matched Dollar General to $.90 – I used the $1.00/1 coupon for Stride iD gum from 7-Eleven (There is also a BOGO printable coupon for Stride iD gum) – Final: FREE with $.10 overage
20 boxes of Jell-O – Normally $.96, I price matched Walgreen’s to $.50 each – I used the $.50/2 coupon for Jell-O from SS 12/9 – Final: $.25 each
11 4lb bags of Imperial Sugar – Normally $3.12, I price matched El Rancho to $1.98 – I used 10 $.55/1 coupon for Imperial Sugar from SS 12/9 and 1 $.75/1 printable coupon for Imperial Sugar – Final: $1.43 for 10 and $1.23 for 1
32 cans of Libby’s vegetables – Normally $.96 each, I price matched Dollar General to $.50 each – I used the $1.00/4 coupon for Libby’s veggies from SS 11/11 – Final: $.25 each
30 Red Gold cans – Normally $.87, I price matched Albertson’s to $.59 – I used the $1.00/2 coupon for for Red Gold tomatoes from a Krogers blinkie – Final: $.09 each
10 packs of Schick disposable razors – $1.97 – I used the $2.00/1 coupon for Schick razors – Final: FREE with $.03 overage
1 pack of Wafflebakker’s pancakes – $3.50 – I used the coupon for FREE Wafflebakker’s products I got from BlogHer many moons ago – Final: FREE
4 avocados – Normally $.68, I price matched El Rancho to $.50 each – Final: $.50 each
All together I got $161.62 worth of food and other products for just $31.73. That’s a savings of $129.89 or 80%!
